I enjoyed some of the more detailed discussion of why things were engineered as they were. Most of the season histories and biographical information of the important people have been covered in more depth elsewhere. Even if you are a Ferrari fan, don't feel compelled to run out and buy this. If, like me, you grew up learning about F1 in the 70's when Ferrari 312Ts were king (and Andretti beat them with the ground effect Lotus) this book might be of more interest.

HIghly recommended book on the legendary 312T series. I enjoyed reading about the drivers (they have become legendary too). I probably would have preferred to trade the section on acquiring one of these cars for more on the technical description, as I'll never be in a position to buy a 312T series car. Racing fans and scale modelers will love the photos, which include historic shots and close-up details.
